Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative – LHR Cargo Terminals

Shifts:

• Primarily 4 on / 2 off and 4 on / 4 off shift patterns

• Mostly night shifts, but candidates must be flexible to work both days and nights

Pay & Rates:

• First 12 weeks: £13.15/hour (days and nights)

• After 12 weeks: £14/hour (days and nights)

Location: LHR Cargo Terminals

Role Overview:
We are looking for experienced Counterbalanced Forklift Drivers who can also perform general warehouse operative duties. You will be an integral part of the cargo handling team, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload vehicles carrying various cargo using a forklift truck and other mechanical equipment

• Perform manual handling as required

• Use hand-held devices to locate and identify cargo

• Process paperwork in line with client requirements

• Handle special cargo products with care

• Build and break down pallets

• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalanced Forklift Certificate (MUST have)

• Flexibility to work both day and night shifts

• Ability to pass client forklift assessment

• Previous FLT and warehouse experience preferred

• Good attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
